The Very Best of Texas ("we," "us") is a publication owned by Hello Web Designs, based in Paris, Texas. This policy covers https://www.verybestoftexas.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you fill in our contact form, get-listed form, or newsletter signup, we receive what you type: typically your name, email address, business details, and message. Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and delivered to us by email.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page). If analytics or advertising are active on the site, those providers may set cookies and collect usage data as described below.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
How we use it
- To answer your message or process your submission
- To send the newsletter, if you asked for it
- To fix errors, improve articles, and decide what to cover next
- To keep the site secure and working
We do not sell your personal information.

- Access or deletion: email hello@verybestoftexas.com and we will delete the information we hold about you, subject to any legal retention requirements.
- Do Not Track: we do not respond to browser DNT signals, because there is no accepted standard for doing so.
Texas, California, and other jurisdictions grant residents specific rights over their personal information. Whatever your state, if you email us asking what we hold and to delete it, we will.
Data security
Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored by Netlify. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
