The Best Wedding Venues in Texarkana

Four downtown buildings on West Broad, opened for events in September 2011, that between them had housed Timberlake Hardware, Beasley Music, Parks Jewelers, a Singer sewing center and a Moose Lodge. The Great Hall is the big room, the Singer Courtyard sits beside it for an outdoor ceremony, the 1885 Parlor handles the small stuff, and the Silvermoon Theatre gives you an actual stage to marry on.

No other venue in Texarkana lets you move guests from vows to cocktails to dinner without anyone getting in a car. Published capacities do vary by source. The Great Hall is quoted both at up to 250 guests and at roughly 140 for a wedding specifically, and the courtyard at about 130, so get the number for your exact layout in writing.

Roughly 19,000 square feet across two ballrooms joined by a central lobby. Goshen, the larger one, is quoted at up to 400 guests. Salem, the smaller one, suits 150 to 250. There are separate get-ready suites for each side of the wedding party, a balcony leading to an upstairs meeting room, and catering kitchens on both floors.

The Foyer seats 60 to 75, which means the rehearsal dinner and the wedding can happen in the same building on the same weekend. Eden, the outdoor space, is available on request rather than as standard.

Booking weddings since 2004 on a working pecan farm overlooking the Red River bottoms. The centerpiece is an air conditioned barn with a dance floor, plus a bridal suite that comfortably holds about ten people getting ready.

The booking terms are the argument for it. Ramage takes one wedding per weekend and gives you the property from 5 p.m. Thursday until 5 p.m. Sunday, so decorating and tear down are not a scramble around somebody else's event.

Opened in October 2012 alongside the 154-room Hilton Garden Inn it shares a site with. There are 25,000 square feet of event space, a 12,000 square foot ballroom quoted at 1,000 seated and divisible into smaller rooms, and a 5,600 square foot rotunda for outdoor ceremonies. The building is LEED certified.

It also hosts the Texarkana Bridal Expo each January, which is the cheapest way in the metro to see a room staged and meet fifteen vendors in one afternoon.

Built in 1929 by Ben Collins as a home for retired women. The Wadley Foundation deeded it to HandsOn Texarkana in 2008, and it now holds that organization's office along with other nonprofits. You get a large parlor, a dining room, front and rear porches, refinished wood floors, a kitchen built for caterers, and landscaped grounds.

Rental fees go straight back into HandsOn's volunteer programs, which is a rare thing to be able to say about a wedding invoice. The Texarkana Gazette profiled the house and its role in 2021.

The club dates to 1962 and has become one of the standard Texarkana wedding addresses, with a standing capacity quoted around 350. On-site restaurant, on-site catering, alcohol permitted.

What you are buying is fewer contracts. Food, bar and staff all come from the house, which removes the two vendors most likely to go wrong on the day.

The land dates back to the 1890s and once ran cattle. Toni and Lewis Melton built their family home there in the early 2000s and put up a barn for Toni's mother to live in. Their son married in it in 2017, and the venue business started from there.

The barn mixes wooden beams with exposed brick, and there is a farmhouse and open field acreage around it. It is a drive, and we have labeled it as one, but it is the nearest thing to a genuine Piney Woods farm wedding that is still in Texas.

Run by the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council in the old federal and Bowie County courthouse building, which reopened as an arts center in 1992. Horace C. Cabe Hall is the rentable room, and TRAHC describes it as about 100 to 110 guests seated at tables, or 120 to 150 for a reception where people mingle.

The free galleries run Tuesday through Saturday, so the building doubles as somewhere to send early-arriving guests instead of leaving them in a parking lot.

A working hunting ranch that added a purpose-built event center, quoted at up to 125 guests, with A/V hookups, a full kitchen and real bathrooms. There are firepits on the grounds and cabin suites where the wedding party gets ready and stays the night.

The Knot lists its peak season as April through October, which matches what an outdoor Red River County wedding realistically allows.

A boutique room of roughly 4,000 square feet run by LD Parker Events, who also do design, florals and rentals, so one conversation covers the space and the styling. Zola lists a seated capacity of 60 and standing capacity of 75, and full wedding pricing starting at $1,000.

Capacity figures vary slightly across listings, from 60 up to 70 seated. If your count is anywhere near the ceiling, get it confirmed rather than assuming the higher number.
