The Short Answer

Quality Roofing on North Main is the strongest all-round roofer in Paris, working Lamar County since 1993 and BBB accredited since 2010. Known Name Roofing has the widest published service list, Asay Roofing is the only one open Saturdays, and Reliant quotes roof and gutters together.

Quality Roofing

North Main Street · Quote based

Known for The longest checkable track record of any roofer in Lamar County

Quality Roofing has worked Lamar County since 1993 under Jack Hoskins Jr., and it is the only roofing contractor with a Paris address we could find carrying Better Business Bureau accreditation, held since 3 May 2010. In a trade where anybody with a truck can print a yard sign after a hailstorm, sixteen years of accreditation and a street address on N Main are the two hardest things on this page to fake.

The work splits residential and commercial, with storm damage handled as a normal part of the business rather than a seasonal sideline, and the company publishes a five year labor warranty on replacements. It is carried in the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce roofing directory alongside the other established names here.

Go-to order or tip: Two domains circulate under this name, a .com and a .net. Check that whichever one you land on shows the (903) 785-8537 number before you fill in a form.

Known Name Roofing & Construction, LLC

Northwest Loop 286 · Quote based

Known for The widest published service list in town, from tune-ups to full metal replacement

Known Name was formed as a Texas LLC on 29 May 2013 under Jeremy Berry, holds a Better Business Bureau profile filed at the Paris address, appears in the chamber roofing directory, and is registered with a USDOT number, 4297726, which is more paper trail than most roofers in a town this size bother to generate. It works from an office on NW Loop 286 rather than a phone number and a trailer.

The published scope is the broadest here: metal and shingle roofing, full replacements, roof tune-ups, emergency tarping, roof inspections, roof and siding cleaning, and gutter installation, residential and commercial. If you are not sure yet whether you need a repair or a replacement, this is a sensible first call because the answer "neither yet" is something they actually sell.

Go-to order or tip: Its own Facebook page publishes knownnameroofing.com while knownnameroofing.net is the site currently indexed, and the suite number comes back as both 100 and 400 depending on the directory. Confirm both when you call.

Asay Roofing & Construction

Paris, no street address published · Quote based

Known for Saturday service and a real commercial single-ply list

Asay is a family run LLC incorporated on 20 September 2016, owned by Bailey Asay and Steven Asay, with a Better Business Bureau file opened 30 November 2017 and a Lamar County Chamber listing under construction companies. It works both sides of the Red River, Texas and Oklahoma.

Two things separate it from the rest of the list. It is the only roofer here publishing Saturday hours, and the weekday window runs 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. rather than 8 to 5. And its commercial page names actual systems, TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, CF panel, AG panel and R panel, rather than the word "commercial" on its own. Residential installs carry a stated five year workmanship warranty.

Go-to order or tip: No street address is published anywhere. The BBB file gives a Paris 75460 zip with no street, and one directory lists a 75462 zip instead, so ask where the shop is when you call.

Reliant Roofing & Construction Company, LLC

19th Street Northwest · Quote based

Known for Roof and gutters quoted and installed as one job

Reliant started trading on 1 September 2013 under Kelly Coplin, opened a Better Business Bureau file on 3 June 2016, and is registered on the federal SAFER carrier database under USDOT number 3171420. It also keeps a Houzz professional profile with project photographs attached, which is a rarer thing here than it sounds and lets you see finished work before you book an estimate.

The practical reason to call Reliant is gutters. It sells roofing and gutters as one scope rather than handing you off to a second contractor after the shingles go on, which matters when hail took both. The BBB has not issued a rating, saying it lacks sufficient information, so treat the file as proof the company exists rather than as a grade.

Go-to order or tip: If you are replacing a roof and the gutters are dented anyway, get this quoted as a single job here and compare it against a roof-only quote elsewhere plus a separate gutter bid.

Wallace Roofing Co. LLC

West Neagle Avenue · Quote based

Known for Coatings, waterproofing and maintenance plans, not just replacement

Wallace is a locally owned, family operated shop on W Neagle Ave with a Dun and Bradstreet company profile filed in Paris and roughly forty public reviews across the review platforms, one of the larger public review records of any roofer in town. Residential work is asphalt shingle and metal; commercial covers flat roofs, TPO and modified bitumen for storefronts, churches, warehouses and multi-family buildings.

What sets it apart is the maintenance side. Alongside replacement and repair it sells roof coatings, waterproofing, gutter service and annual maintenance plans, which is the right conversation for a low-slope commercial roof that has ten years left in it if somebody looks after it. Tarping and same-day inspections are offered when weather turns.

Go-to order or tip: Two near-identical websites circulate under this name and they disagree about how long the company has been trading, one saying thirty plus years and the other ten. We publish no founding year for that reason, so ask directly.

Ben Dillard Roofing and Construction

North Main Street · Quote based

Known for Metal roofs, metal buildings and sheet work rather than shingles alone

Ben Dillard runs a sole proprietorship from an address on N Main, with Ben Dillard as owner and Amy Dillard as office manager, and a Better Business Bureau file opened 3 April 2017. The BBB has not rated it. The trade listing is unusually specific for this market: general contracting, roofing, metal roofing, sheet roofing, membrane roofing, metal buildings, new homes, carpentry, remodeling and metal fences.

That mix is the reason to call. If the job is a metal roof on a barn, a shop building or a house, or a metal building that needs putting up rather than patching, this is a shorter list of candidates in Paris than it is for a straightforward comp shingle tear-off.

Go-to order or tip: Two phone numbers circulate for this business across the directories, so we publish neither. Reach it through its website or the N Main address and confirm the number you are given. Sources also split on the founding year, with its own listings saying 1996 and the BBB file dating the business to December 2009.

All Pro Roofing Systems

Cypress Drive · Quote based

Known for Insurance storm damage claims handled end to end

All Pro is run by Jeff W. Sugg, who came to roofing after twenty-three years in law enforcement. The dates in circulation split, with sources giving 2012 for his start in roofing construction and 2022 for All Pro Roofing Systems as a business, so read it as an experienced operator under a newer name rather than a company with a decade of filings behind it.

The specialty is stated plainly and is worth taking at face value: insurance storm damage claims, with free inspections and its own crews rather than day labor. Composite roof replacement and repair plus gutters is the core scope, and the service area runs across Northeast Texas and over the Red River into Oklahoma.

Go-to order or tip: Two domains are live for this company. If you land on one and the phone number is not (903) 491-1501, back out and dial that number instead.

Lamar Roofing

West Houston Street · Quote based

Known for Storm damage restoration and emergency tarping

Lamar Roofing is locally owned by Jimmy Gregory and appears in the Lamar County Chamber roofing directory, working roof replacement, new installation, repair, hail and wind damage, and emergency tarping across Paris and the county.

It is ranked last for one reason, and it is not the work. Its public record outside its own website is the thinnest of the eight: a Yelp listing carrying no street address and no reviews, no Better Business Bureau file we could locate, and no third-party profile with photographs of finished jobs. That is normal for a newer shop and it is not a mark against the crew, but it means you are relying on references rather than a paper trail.

Go-to order or tip: Ask for two local references with addresses you can drive past, and confirm the W Houston St address, which is the only place it appears outside the company's own pages.

How did we pick these?

We started with the question that decides this category in a town of 25,000: which roofing companies are physically in Paris and Lamar County, and which ones are landing pages pointed at the town from somewhere else? Search "roofers in Paris TX" and most of the first page is the second kind.

So the list is built from records that need a real local presence behind them. Better Business Bureau files opened under a Paris address. The Lamar County Chamber of Commerce roofing directory. Federal SAFER carrier registrations. Dun and Bradstreet company profiles. Then every address and phone number was cross-checked against at least two independent sources before it went in, and where sources disagreed we published the conflict on the card instead of picking one.

There are no partners, sponsors or paid placements on this list. Hello Web Designs, which publishes this site, does have a roofing client, H&H Roofing, but it is in Sulphur Springs, about an hour south, and a Hopkins County roofer does not belong on a Paris list because of who built its website. It is ranked on merit in our Sulphur Springs roofers guide instead.

The cuts were as instructive as the picks. Paris Roofing on SE Loop 286 has an address and a phone number in two directories and nothing else at all: no website, no reviews, no independent coverage. Rhodes On Roofs shows up in Paris searches with no confirmable address. Both are probably real. We could not verify them, so they are not here.

Which roofers ranking for Paris are not actually in Paris?

Several of the strongest-looking results are honest companies with a Paris page and an office somewhere else. Lankford Roofing has been going since 1937 and is a serious outfit, headquartered at 23994 W US Highway 82 in Sherman. Nunez Roofing works out of Loop 301 in Sulphur Springs. T&R Roofing is on FM 814 in Trenton. Troy Bass Roofing comes back as Point and Greenville. Project One and Alliance both run Paris service-area pages from other towns.

None of that makes them bad. It means the crew is driving an hour or more each way, and that the warranty callout in eighteen months is a longer conversation than it would be with somebody on N Main. Below those sit the template sites, the ones with a town name swapped into a headline and a national call centre behind the form. Those we cut without a second look.

What should you know before you sign?

Company Based Strongest independent record Best for
Quality Roofing N Main St BBB accredited since 2010, trading since 1993 The safest all-round replacement
Known Name Roofing NW Loop 286 LLC since 2013, BBB file, USDOT registered Tune-ups, inspections, roof plus gutters
Asay Roofing Paris, address not published LLC since 2016, BBB file, chamber listing Saturdays and commercial single-ply
Reliant Roofing 19th St NW USDOT 3171420, BBB file, Houzz portfolio Roof and gutters as one job
Wallace Roofing W Neagle Ave D and B profile, roughly forty public reviews Coatings and maintenance plans
Ben Dillard Roofing N Main St BBB file since 2017, sole proprietorship Metal roofs and metal buildings
All Pro Roofing Cypress Dr Owner named, storm claim specialty Insurance claim work
Lamar Roofing W Houston St Chamber directory listing Storm damage and emergency tarping

Read that middle column as evidence, not a score. BBB accreditation tells you a company has stayed complaint-free enough to keep paying for it. A USDOT number tells you it runs registered trucks. A D and B profile tells you it files like a business. None of them says the crew is good, which is what references and finished roofs you can drive past are for.

Get the inspection before you call your insurer rather than after. A written report with photographs gives the adjuster something specific to answer, and every company here will inspect without charging. Ask whether the crew is theirs or subcontracted, because that decides who picks up the phone when a shingle lifts in March. And get the workmanship warranty in writing separately from the manufacturer's material warranty. They are two different documents and only one of them is the roofer's problem.

What should you do next?

Call Quality Roofing first if you want the deepest paper trail in the county, and Known Name second so you have a comparison from a shop with an office you can walk into. If the leak is today and it is a Saturday, Asay is the only number on this page that will answer.

If hail took the gutters along with the shingles, get Reliant to quote the whole thing as one job before you split it. For a metal roof or a shop building, start with Ben Dillard. And if you are working through the rest of the house, the Paris city guide collects everything we have published here, from cabinet makers to countertops, while our roofing directory covers the rest of Northeast Texas.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Texas issues no state roofing license, which means the usual instinct of asking to see a license has nothing to check. The closest substitutes are the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas voluntary licensing program, manufacturer certification tiers, and a current certificate of general liability and workers compensation insurance. Ask for the insurance certificate every time, and ask for it from the insurer rather than as a photocopy.

No roofing company in this market publishes a price, so we publish none either. The figures that come up in a search are national estimator averages, not Paris quotes, and they are routinely off by thousands in both directions. Get three written quotes on the same scope, shingle grade, decking replacement allowance and warranty, and compare those instead.

Asay Roofing is the only company here publishing Saturday hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., which makes it the first call for a Friday afternoon leak that cannot wait. Known Name and Lamar Roofing both list emergency tarping, and Wallace offers same-day inspections when weather turns. None of them publishes a Sunday schedule.

Be careful with it. Storm chasing crews follow hail into Northeast Texas, sign as many roofs as they can, and are gone before the workmanship warranty means anything. Check the company against a Paris street address, a chamber listing, or a Better Business Bureau file before you sign, and never hand over an insurance check to somebody whose office you cannot drive to.

Not exactly. Homeworthy Construction and Design is a genuine Lamar County builder and remodeler, owned by Nathan Bass with a Better Business Bureau file opened in June 2025, and roofing is one line in a full construction scope that also covers foundations, framing, drywall and concrete. It is a reasonable call for a build or a remodel that includes a roof, which is why it is named here rather than ranked as a roofer.
